    DAY 1

    • After arriving in Bagdogra Airport, you will be received by our representative guide The traveling distance of four hours will take you to Phuentsholing, which is situated in Bhutan. In between, enjoy the fight scenes as well as the landscape from India up to the lower Buhutan hills. On your arrival, you are shuttled to the hotel of your check-in, and the rest of the day is spent at leisure. They became a little more relaxed and visited part of the Rural Market and the Bhutan Gate. 

      Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

    DAY 2

    • Once you finish with immigration formalities at Phuentsholing, it will take 5 hours to drive to Thimphu, the capital of the country. The drive itself has breathtaking, picturesque surrounding hills, curved roads, and deep ditches. When you arrive at Thimphu, you need to stay in a hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to wander and witness the pulsating life of this modern city with traditional Bhutanese culture.

    DAY 3

    • Start your exploration of Thimphu by visiting the National Memorial Chorten, a distinctive feature of the city’s outline. Next to them, go to the gigantic Buddha Dordenma, which has a commanding view of the whole valley. Proceed to Tashichho Dzong, where the Bhutanese king’s throne is situated and houses the Bhutanese government and also the religious place, and then you will visit the Folk Heritage Museum, the Textile Preservation Centre, and the Royal Textile Museum in order to learn about the rural life of the beautiful country. The way to understand Bhutanese handicraft is by visiting the local markets and souvenirs.

    DAY 4

    • Today what you shall do is take about 5 hours of drive to Phobjikha Valley, which is a glacial valley. On the way, you will go to visit the Dochula Pass (3,100 m), which offers views of 108 actual chortens and the Himalayas when the weather is fine. Upon arrival in Phobjikha, you should visit Gangtey Goemba, the largest religious institution of the Nyingmapa order. The winter-loving blacknecked cranes also reside in Phobjikha.

    DAY 5

    • In the morning after breakfast, start the full day’s drive to Bumthang, the religious centre of Bhutan, and en route visit Trongsa Dzong. This one was situated at a strategic place on the Mangde River, built just atop the river banks. This one was a historical fortress. Bumthang’s natural scenery entices any tourist as you drive through valleys and farmlands to get to this beautiful place.

    DAY 6

    • Today you will go to visit the sacred places of Bumthang, beginning with Jakar Dzong, which is the largest one in this area. Proceed to Kurjey Lhakhang temple, which houses the body imprint of Guru Rinpoche on the rock. Tour the temple of Tamshing Lhakhang that has some of the oldest paintings done in Bhutanese monasteries; later take a tour of Mebar Tsho or the Burning Lake.

    DAY 7

    • In the morning, at 7 o’ clock, proceed for the 6-hour overland tour to Punakha, the second Royal Kingdom of Bhutan, famous for its natural beauty and climate. After this, go straight to your hotel and take some rest. Flat field areas along the valleys and rivers make Punakha one of the best places in Bhutan to relax after a long drive.

    DAY 8

    • Today discover Punakha, starting by visiting one of the most beautiful fortresses, Punakha Dzong, situated at the joining of the Pho Chu and the Mo Chu rivers. Stop and cross the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan and enjoy the incredible view. After that, you can have a short trek to Chimi Lhakhang Temple, known as the Temple of Fertility, and people come here to pray for a child.

    DAY 9

    • In the morning, post breakfast, you will proceed to the rather isolated and picturesque valley of Haa. It’s a six-hour drive but picturesque and rather enlightening when it comes to the rural areas of Bhutan. Trekking to the valley provides exquisite views of the area that still has typical Bhutanese houses and great time for relaxation. Proceed and check in at a hotel, then spend the whole day exploring the quiet environment of the valley.

    DAY 10

    • You will spend the day discovering the Haa valley, which is one of the most beautiful, isolated valleys in Bhutan. Explore the homestead and worship Lhakhang Karpo Temple (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo Temple (Black Temple), believed to have legends. The beauty of Bhutanese villages and its culture can also be easily viewed and felt while simply walking.

    DAY 11

    • After breakfast, start your journey to Paro over the Chele La Pass, the highest point passable by car at a height of 3988 meters. The drive is fantastic, with the opportunity to see the beauty of Paro Valley and the far-off Himalayan ranges, including Jumolhari. Alternatively, arriving in Paro, especially, book into any of these comfortable hotels and spend the remainder of the day visiting the markets and other places of interest.

    DAY 12

    • Today you will go to one of the most dramatic sights in Bhutan: the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), located at an altitude of 3180 meters. Even the way to the monastery is steep but interesting; one gets a wonderful view of the mountain ranges and the valleys. On the last day of the tour, also prepare for the hiking, and after that, you could also take some time for local sight-seeing of Paro town.

    DAY 13

    • Following your breakfast, begin to drive to Phuentsholing, which will take about six hours; however, there is a possibility of a lot of sightseeing on the roads, and again you are going to find yourself driving through the picturesque terrains of Bhutan. On arrival at Phuentsholing, spend a night in a hotel, and then the next morning proceed to West Bengal for boarding your flight back home.

    DAY 14

    • This brings the curtain down as regard your expatriation in Bhutan. Both the hotels come with pick and drop facility from Bagdogra Airport; accordingly after the breakfast, you will be dropped at Bagdogra Airport for onward journey with the mesmerizing memories of Bhutan.
